Michael Buble, "Copycat Artist"?!

Much like technology(or for you non-Creationism believers, man) music has evolved for better or worse,

I have heard comments that Michael Buble is some sort of copycat artist that simply sings the songs of legends and is talentless. The old saying goes "imitation is the greatest form of flattery" and that holds true for Buble's reinventions of standards and "oldies". To say that Buble is talentless is ridiculous. True, Buble does "copycat" songs, but purely in lyrics; the tunes, instruments, and overall "feel" of the music is much different. For example Buble's version of "A Foggy Day (In London Town)" is much different then the way George Gershwin composed.

Michael Buble is like Thomas Edison. Edison DID NOT INVENT THE LIGHT BULB(sorry if that sounds harsh but it has been pounded into the brains elementary students for far too long), however what he did do was make a light bulb that was economically viable. Michael Buble does not write all of his own songs or have an array of original ones but what he does do is reinvent and polish the songs of yesteryear and make them fresh and reinvigorated.
